Student Guide to Broomhill

Broomhill offers a slightly more refined student living experience. It's a leafy, attractive suburb with a mix of grand Victorian houses and smaller terraces. It's extremely popular with University of Sheffield students, particularly those in medicine and dentistry, due to its proximity to the main campus and the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. The area has a great selection of pubs, restaurants, and charity shops, offering a different vibe to other student areas. While still very much a student hub, it feels a bit more grown-up and is generally quieter than Crookes or Ecclesall Road. Student accommodation in Broomhill can be slightly more expensive, but the quality of the properties and the pleasant surroundings make it a price worth paying for many.
